yet another update...

Sorry about the delay this was due several days ago...but the results took a little while to process. The MRI showed that I have something called Chiari Malformation...which means that the smaller section of my brain is shaped incorrectly. This could be the cause of my excruciating headaches as well as my neck pain...but not necessarily. It also could just be there but not be causing any sort of discomfort whatsoever. If any of you would like to look it up and see what I’m talking about, this is the best link I’ve found so far: Chiari Malformation
Anyways, an update on how I’m doing: well I’m doing ok if barely making through 2 class periods awake and then needing a nap before even attempting to sit through the next 2 class periods. I might be remembering things slightly better maybe...I’m not really sure because it might also depend on the day. It's funny, regardless of how long I sleep at night (whether it be 4-5 hours or almost 10-11 hours) I always wake up feeling like I slept at most 2 hours and usually can stay awake fairly easily for the following 2 hours after which I begin to once again feel exhausted. Oh and, for about the last 2.5 weeks pretty much the only food I’ve been able to eat for lunch and supper is pizza...everything else seems to increase the nausea that accompanies every mealtime...so the only variety is when I get to eat cereal for breakfast...and for snacks I can usually eat bananas. So in short, I’m currently living off of frosted flakes, bananas, and pizza...with an occasional try at something else. Well, it's time for my nap in between classes and lunch which is followed by more classes. I’ll try to update more later.
